About

Fibre was built to solve a problem we experienced firsthand at a large corporation using Intercom for customer support.

When we needed customers to upload sensitive documents (proof of address, identity verification, business documents), customers were uncomfortable sending them to Intercom. They worried about where their data would be stored, who would have access, and whether it was compliant with regulations like GDPR. Intercom's 100 MB file size limit didn't help either.

So instead, customers would fall back to email. This created even bigger problems: unencrypted attachments, security risks, compliance violations, and scattered document trails across multiple channels.

We built Fibre to solve this. Files upload directly from the customer's browser to your own storage (Google Drive, S3, or Azure) without passing through Intercom or Fibre servers. Customers stay in Messenger where the conversation is happening, but you maintain complete control over where documents land.

No third-party storage, no security risks, no compliance headaches. Just simple, secure document collection that fits naturally into your existing workflow.
